hey i sat stat midyear and got 176/200 as my scaled mark.
I received an offer to Science at University of Newcastle.
I wanna do medicine, but I've been quite sick and off school for a long time this year, but I've been dux of my year every other year.
Should I take offer and transfer (no HSC) or repeat (HSC) to maximise chances of getting into medicine?
PS: HSC chances this year looking slim (trials in 3 weeks, absolutely not prepared).

STAT is used for admission to some universities for non-recent school leavers, or for additional selection criteria for certain courses (like Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney).

Possibly. I only remember it was 46 point something.

very unlikely that it will change... unless there's a massive demand for the course. but for the past few years it has been minimum 150/200.

do all of the practice questions provided in the sample question booklets, gives u a good idea of the style of questions asked.

I used reading time to answer the first 4-5 questions based on the first stimulus....
lol and dont be nervous.. just relax
