Hey I was thinking about the situation a few years ago... I don't know if it has changed or anything but what are all your thoughts on this?

I think it may have been 2003. Blues won the first game in qld, then the second game at Telstra stadium. Obviously they had already won the series. I think they then lost the 3rd game up in Brisbane, but then they had the award ceremony after that. Most of the qld crowd had already left, others were booing and Andrew Johns had to make the acceptance speech which hardly any queenslanders were listening to.

I thought it was kind of an anti-climax, having secured the series in NSW but accepting the trophy and stuff in qld after they had lost the 3rd game.

If a team wins the series in game 2, which happens to be their home state, do you think they should be awarded with at least something in front of their home crowd? But then again, it would kind of be saying that State of Origin is over and no one really cares about game 3.

I don't know... I'm undecided. What do you guys think?

In most cases, the losing team gears it up for respect :)

NSW will win, i cant pick by how much. I think it will be more than a try difference but NSW's heart will take it through.... but im sick of the Andrew johns hype. Get over it (the media) because if he flops out it will be a huge embarasement for him.

If by which you mean it would break the secret contract with the media outlets covering the event who, for commercial gain, would rather the 3rd game be a decider rather than a dead rubber. Personally I think Queensland will win because they have a better team although I will be going for NSW
Perhaps there is a conspiracy - but where's your evidence. I mean it wouldn't be right because I hate the Maroons lol!

nah Joey shouldn't retire yet. He's an asset to NSW. But he needs to get out of the Knights. They're doomed and obviously he can't do much more to help up there. Maybe he should come to the Roosters? ;)
