In preparation for the HSC, our teacher made us use last years exam question: "How are images used to shape your response to the worlds presented in your perscribed texts and related texts." Im studying strictly ballroom and am having trouble finding a specific scene where the dance federation has power. For anyone who did it last year...please help!!!

Strictly Ballroom Scene

I think the best scene to use, is a scene with Barry Fife. Pick a scene that the camera angle is shooting up towards Barry Fife. Because the camera shot resemble that the person has power or authority.

Good Luck

Yeah the Barry Rife scene is powerful. But also try to focus on 2-3 main messages of the movies.

Also the scene where the ppl are chanting "new steps, new steps..." and the scene immediately after that where Barry Fife is sitting at the head of the desk saying to the other members on that desk "they'll be no new steps" they are some examples of power of the federation.

you can comment on the camera angles, how low angle shots usually centering Fife show how he has authority and is empowering..

edit: didn't notice ahacohen's post
