Hey, i have been given an assesment and we have to:
Use the stimulus below as the basis for a piece of imaginative writing on the theme of belonging.
Stimulus is - "this is not my country, this is not my kinda place, i dont belong here"

Any ideas about what i could write about wud be greatly appreciated

Well, it has to be about not belonging in a country. Something about migrants?

Ever read The Tomorrow Series?
You could do something more like that. Where it IS there country, but it's been invaded and taken over by foreign troops and they have to figure out how to defeat them, so they disembark on numerous guirella attacks. Therefore not really belonging, cos most of the people are being captured and these kids are not. so you can do a twist on the migrant story...?

Ah crap, I'm so screwed if I get that for stimulus.

You could do something about cultural belonging. Like live in the country but not belong there. Although that's the invited context, so prolly about a million other people will do that.
