I'm in the freaking preliminary year and I'm already stressed about the HSC.
Badly scaling subjects, badly ranked school.. What if all these hours are going to waste!? I'll have to go to freaking TAFE!

I'm not stupid, nor super smart. I'm a little higher than average and I go to a public school. If I put in at least 7-10 hours each day for year 12, does that somewhat guarantee a UAI of 80-90?

7-10hours a day is bordering on insane.

Do your ultimate best in each of your subjects. Work hard and study smart, i.e don't fluff around when you're studying and the hours won't be wasted.....But then again, i'm not the one to say :p

I don't see how you can put 7-10 hours a day, not including school hours, without getting pwned by stress.

The number of hours that you do studying does not gurantee anything. If you get good ranks throughout Year 12, work hard in the assessments and do well in the external HSC exams, then a UAI of 80-90 is a lot more easier to attain. Simply put, work hard and consistently, but do not go and overstress yourself, the burnout created from too much stress would destroy any benefits in doing that much work in that amount of time.

haha 7-10 hours a week is more like it
youll just burn out if you keep that up
just work hard, but not too hard, because stress factors will go up and youll go crazy
i know it doesnt guarentee anything, but with that much of study, you should easily get 80+

i think it was because i burnt out?
i'm currently at a learning centre because i stressed out too much and stuck a pen in my eye.
i wish i could go to tafe.

Goodluck sunny jim.

Think about Mudkips, think about its new techniques as it evolves into Marshtomp as well as Swampert.

Don't let Team-Magma-or-Aqua-style stress take you, assume Swampert's fearsome appearance and take the HSC down.

I'm tired of looking, criticizing and despising at fancy sigs made in expensive image manipulation programs like Photoshop which requires many steps for perfection ...

So I introduced the EDU-SIG™ which gives forum members something useful to look at at least.

The content may not be new but it's the concept that matters, the EDU-SIG™ aims to be Simple, Innovative and Genuine, successfully embracing the true spirit of e-signatures.
