Remember that the HSC isn't the end of the world. Do your best but don't get too stressed out, in the end it is only one of a number of paths that get you to the university course, job, etc., that you want.
I'm not saying that the HSC isn't important, It is. it's just that it isn't worth getting too worked up and stressed out about.

Work Hard!
Study Hard!
Do Your Best!

That's all you can do.

Dude I'd drop the maths extension over English. The absolute lack of effort required for EE1 when I was in Y11 made up for the hours of MX1 I'd have to do each night. I like to think of it as, they balance each other out, in a weird and twisted way.
