I think our food is overpriced, but then again i sometimes cant be bothered to goto macq centre for food....

$7.50 from $7 for a Macq burger meal (largest burger) sometimes aint worth your money....... and the thai food aint all that great in quality

But if u go upstairs, steak+chips+gravy+ drink is quite worth it

IMO the breakfast meal is also great (anyone tried it?)

I have never been asked b4 to show my ID card, i am not in SAM or other groups and they always charge me member prcies...

I hope they dont start checking our SAM ID!

BTW what happened in the MUSC elections? there better be a good reason for a price rise

I just payed by phone then.

I think its unlikely thell expell you, but this penalty fee of $200 might happen...which is also fked.

PS. Fees should be optional

I havent even got a letter yet, and so if they decide to unenrol me, I'll just say "well it would help if you sent me an invoice so I knew what the hell was going on!". Everything this semester seems a bit odd and out of the norm.

I totally want voluntary contributions because we get nothing at our uni anyway- I dont save $200 on being a SAM member, so why should I have to pay? And I dont touch their crappy gym, only when I have exams in there. It sucks. Agree with the new commercialism within the new SAM area, everything is a ripoff. If I cant be bothered going to MQ Centre I starve because I cant afford the food at uni on my income. (I have had the big brekkie, thats awesome, cheap and the only good thing about the SAM area in general).

I'm v. anti uni at the moment.

Its all grr and ugh.

Takes me 3 hr + to travel there and back in a day (4 days a week $6.80 a day for transportation) , at the end of the week, the expenses piles up, i try to keep it under $50 a week (incl. transport costs),

as for fees, well we dont get much from them, as MJ said

I dont use the gym, i think there are much cheaper alternatives

Anyone can get a 50c off there burger meal if ur a student or not (just look like one!)

But then again, comparing our uni fees and exp (not uni lifestyle fees) with other developed countries, we are quite cheap

Anyway thats what i think...correct me if i am wrong

P.S i usually eat the big breakfast early in the morning if i dont get much sleep, something to kickstart the brain after 1:30 hr on public transportation....only if they serve coffee with it...

I even had to take tomato juice instead of orange juice...

Those times were suggested by theorpists so i guess there's certain reason with in it. And even though u can sleep in othertimes, (like wat i do) it wouldn't be called beauty sleep (technically) anymore :p

I got some pearlers for anti-uni hate...

- Got booked parking at macquarie even though I have the goddam parking sticker, when I contested it was basically told that I couldn't prove anything...and the rude slut on the phone said it was better off paying the fine than going to court...
God, was so outraged....

but if you have the sticker then your registered. you dont need to prove anything, they should have your car on record. Its not a matter of you losing the sticker, then there is no evidence that you are registered. If you lose your sticker you have to pay a small fee, so i assume they have proof in the records. You should even have a receipt. There has to be more than what you arent telling us, if there isnt then you should be outraged! wouldnt they accept the receipt as proof or something?

I think that's the point of you registering your address. You should contest it. Need counsel? :D
