Not yet..... But I probably should start soon, shouldn't I? :uhoh:
Boardofstudies.org doesn't help in motivation cos everyone's saying 'oh it's the biggest bludge you'll ever get to have' etc etc........
that's because it is.
by all means study but don't bother getting stressed! if you start getting stressed, just give up, it's not worth it.

EDIT: should I do all the questions in the past paper or only multiple choice?

Go for all questions, you'll get the feel of the SC and some of it might help you, like writing for English, you'll know how to write within the time you are given, or for science there might be questions regarding an experiment which could appear again this year, you never know.

Just wondering, what other studying techniques do you guys use? What do you find works and what doesn't?

This is what I did for science, geo and history:

- Typed notes
- Read them
- Re-wrote them by hand

Left 24 hrs

- Gave myself 2 hrs to do 1 science past paper and 2 hrs to do geo and history.

You could also record yourself reading your notes and listen to it before bed and on the way to school. Apparently that works.

For english and math I just did past papers. =]

Did you re-write them from memory? That's pretty good, it seems very meticulous, I guess. For science, geo and history I:

- Write notes
- Read them
- Do a few questions from past papers at a time
- Re-write important features of notes

And for english and maths, the same as you, just past papers :D

I was thinking maybe I should adopt some sort of mind-mapping study technique..

No, I didn't re-write them from memory. The purpose of re-writing them is so they stick in my head, not to see how much I learnt off by heart. :)
