I know how to work out the perimter of a rectangle but i wanst sure of the correct actual formula ?? could someone please tell me whatthis is

Where the length is l and the breadth is b, the perimeter is 2(l+b)

why cant u just add all the sides together?

thanks heaps i knew it was all the sides added together but i couldnt remember the correct formula which i needed to put in an assessment

I doubt it matters what letters you use; just state what your saying equals what (ie. l = length and whatever).
