My subjects so far are:
MX1
mathematics (accelerated)
EE1
SOR1 (ugh I hate this)
Economics
Physics
Chem/Bio????? (not sure which one sure yet)

I really want to do well with mathematics next year so I don't have to do it in year 12 but I'm not sure whether these units will be too much for me. BTW my school requires a minimum of 12 units and I have to do a religion subject. Any advice/info would really help.

Hi :)
I'm doing accelerated maths too.
Anways, I think you should choose chem because it's more relevant to physics and chem scales beter (but ignore scaling). In bio you have to rote learn far more concepts than chem but in chem you do calculations and do some rote learning like the process of extracting copper.

Thanks, and yea i'll probably choose chem because of the application and stuff and I find it more interesting, If i end up hating it i'll either swap to bio or modern.

12 units for preliminary is a board of studies rule, not a school rule as such.
I'd go with Chemistry.
