ill be starting my second year this 2007, and im looking to do an arts subject outside the eco/bus faculty...some sort of digital media/photography primer.

is this permitted?

What degree are you doing?

usually you should be able to... unless some highly specific degree which has no freedom in its resolution...

then yes you are able to... in first year, i believe you can take 1 subject out side your discipline per semester...

You only need 96 credit points from the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The other 48 can come from Arts, Science etc.

Excellent. I think that a lot of us would want to do a non-faculty unit. Am I right?

As for the 48 that aren't from the faculty, is that enough for a major..say in something like a language?

48 should be enough for most majors (not all though)
