Hey all, I'm currently doing texts and human experiences in english standard. For my first assessment task, I have to pick a related text. Does anyone have any suggestions? Our main text is 'past the shallows' if that helps. Also, it has to be less than 500 words. Thanks to anyone who can help

Are you allowed multimedia (e.g. movies, cartoons, etc)? Or is it exclusively texts?
If you are allowed multimedia, I'd recommend the cartoon "Gardens of the Human Condition".
If not, then perhaps the poem "The Barn Owl".
From what I've seen, the longing for connection and the father-son are a key element of your text, something present in both.
