Q. Express (x^2+x+2)/((x-4)(x^2+1)) as a sum of partial fractions

Well what is a "sum of partial fractions"?
My teacher didn't tell us anything about this and it's in the past paper -.-"

Thanks in advance!

Learn partial fractions? I think it might be in the integration section of your textbook, since it's useful for integration. If not, it's in polynomials.
