Hey people

I was looking up examples of superconductors
but i got all these recent sites with posts from
like 1 week ago recording SCs with critical temps
of 150k...

I think if i use that in the exam the markers might think
im bullshitting?

What's an average SC critical temp?

Depends on the type:

You've got type 1 Superconductors: metals & metalloids, with critical temperatures from just over 0K - 10K

Or Type 2 Superconductors: metallic compounds and alloys, with critical temperatures from around 90K - 138K (apparently the highest known to date although from what your saying it may be higher)
