My mum made me carry two stones 'cause she's such a dirty, hippy, pagan weirdo. First one was Rose Quartz for calming...I loved thinking about throwing it at one of the examiners just to have her turn around and go "WHO WAS THAT *wobblewobble* I'm such a fat bitch".table for 1 said:i heard it's lucky to carry a quartz into the exam. don't know the reasoning behind it though
haha... that sure seems like an omen.Gavrillo said:The other was a green crystal, for strength. I lost that one...lost, broke same thing...I still don't know how I broke it in my Maths test...
He's right, it happened to me today. Dammit, I should've sat at the back!Gavrillo said:I've worked out the best method of approach:
If you think you've done well in a test, sit up the front. That way, the zen energy that flows from the teacher as he/she hands back your papers infuses with your thoughts and changes your marks. But, if you think you did badly, sit at the back and you won't have much trouble with Zen energies.
At least that's my 4-unit english, no science interpretation.
That, my friend, is not superstition.Argonaut said:The night before an exam or an assessment, I usually don't do anything study-wise at all (it's the Eleventh Hour, if I don't know it by then, I'm not gonna learn it all by the start of the exam). I just try to take my mind off things and get a decent night's sleep so that the next morning I'm clear-headed and focused. Works every time.
