What actually happens in the "switching on" workshops? Is it worth going to? I'm quite confused coz all i'm getting is that we're there to meet ppl...plz correct me if i'm wrong.

i will b a mentor there. the program is roughly:

- info about uni - lectures/tutes, etc
- time management
- managing procrastination

plus some games so that everyone gets to know one another etc
