Sydney or UNSW for Commerce/Engineering? (1 Viewer)

Hi, just after some other people's opinions to help me make my decision.

UNSW is better i gather, but would mean an extra hour travel each day plus the extra half year course duration.

Would i be at all disadvantaged in terms of career prospects if i went to sydney? I'm probably interested in civil at this stage but know that may change.

ive heard UNSW is better at engineering, plus teh engineering building at usyd looked pretty old when i went on open day lol

It really makes no difference. Having studied at both unis, they are pretty similar. Go for the one that is closer - i.e. usyd.

Most of these people that say that one uni is better than another for a degree have no idea since they have only gone to one uni, don't trust everything you hear.
