I'd say just complete your current degree and apply for grad med.

Theoretically though would they take your uni marks and UAI together? Or does it avoid that entanglement and just take what your UAI was? Could you even do that?

I am debating whether to splice out all the spam and delete it. Half of the above posts seem to be of no more substance than an MSN chat log.

Be kind. If you remove everything that is not related, this would be a dead thread by now. Anyone serious about USyd combined med would know that you need 99.95 or higher, and then there are only going to be a max of 10 of them.

Yep, I agree with that - screwing up English doesn't really preclude you from getting 99.95...I'm sure that had you not made band 6 in any of your english units, you'd have still gotten 99.95.

I wonder if this program is open to NRSLs.

ie so that you meet the requirements, but have already done 1 year of uni and want to apply in.

It was to allow Usyd to still have a high calibre of students lining up.. cos previously most 99.95/100 ppl definately got UNSW and didnt want to risk the GAMSAT.. as the UAI and other external exams dun usualli align well.. i.e.. ure high UAI does not equal high GAMSATs always

yes so NRSL were excluded.
