for part b, t = 0 and t = sqrt 3. in the case t = 0, A is 0 and 2pi, and in the case t = sqrt 3, A is 2pi/3.

what i don't get is while i do have the above values, for t = sqrt 3, wouldn't A also include pi/3 (it's not just a related angle?)? as in when tan(A/2) = sqrt 3, wouldn't this mean A/2 is both 4pi/3 and pi/3?? i don't get why pi/3 isn't included, thanks in advance

tan(A/2) isnt 4pi/3 because the range for A/2 is (0<=A/2<=pi)

As for pi/3, isnt it already included? because if you multiple over by 2 you get A = 2pi/3 which is in the answer
