i've got two bats, still in good condition.

only 1 sided btw, if you know what i mean.

its only for traditional pen grip.

I'm bullshitting, because I've only played in one inter-school comp, but it's all in the wrist, I imagine grip would usually be chosen based on comfort - personally, I think if you don't have RSI and have coordination it's plenty easy to get as much power as necessary in table tennis with any grip you are comfortable with, because all the power comes from flicking your wrist.

when i play using a normal tennis style grip, i find that i can get HEAPS of strength because i can draw my arm back easily and still use my wrist, and its easier for backhands

i think you mean stiga. and also china's 'double happiness' (cool name i know ;) ).

does anyone know any tabletennis websites or books... i need to improve my skills so i don't get thrashed 11-0 all the time.

tabletennis, imo, isn't about power - there's no point putting so much force in the ball such that it flies out of the table.
