Ive watched their video clip a few times, however only tody i realised that there must b a censored and uncensored version, cos they were full on kissin, and i was like woah wtf lol

i read somewhere that Tatu pretendin to be lesbians is just a marketin ploy, which i reckon is pretty smart cos its workin

so does any1 actually like their song? or only like it bcos of the video clip?

and if the video clip didnt feature two chicks making out, would it have reached the same lvl of success?

i reckon its one of the cleverest marketing ploys... kinda exploiting things a bit though.

but the video clips cool, and so is the song...

however, they cant sing... and it shows on some of their other songs (their cover of 'how soon is now' is CRAP)

aparently the producer of them's a sick bastard - i mean, they started the whole lesbian thing when they were 14, and one was a virgin so he slept with her so she's know what was going on

I like their song, but yes they cannot sing. Its just good beat, and some electronic adjustments. The video clip is a bit out there. I don't know whelther it should be censored. I'd imagine that a lot of community groups would be outranged by it. But its a lot better than some of the other video clips these days...at least they're wearing a good amount of clothing.

I don't think they can really sing that well either, though "All the things she said" is really catchy . I downloaded the uncensored clip - it's not that shocking, I saw worse on law camp .

I agree about the clothing too, I thought Dirrrty (right number of rs?) was just dumb.

the only thing I don't understand is the whole fuss on their vid clips. I've only seen the censored one and even that people still complained on. homophobes. just because it's two girls and not boy girl.

exactly, if it's same-sex it's porn/sinful/disgusting/etc but if it's hetero then it won't receive as harsh comments.

what's annoying is everytime their song's about to be played on radio they ALWAYS make some emphasis on their supposed lesbianity "the two lesbian Russian/school girls, TATU!!".
it's not like they say "the hetero Avril Lavigne" or "the very straight Robbie Williams"

but yeah, i fully know what you mean... theres so much emphasis placed on sexuality, its ridiculous... but then again, some homosexual people also place emphasis on their own sexuality, so its kinda a double edged blade...

and, admittedly, with tatu... theres not really much other substance to focus on!
