Hey guys i was wondering what you think of my pip,im planning on basing it on underage drinking in australia, why is underage drinking so common etc?
I plan on basing my chapters in the central material on the following questions and in the brackets i have written which concepts i think they relate to...please help i feel like im going to get such a low uai...i feel like my pip sucks already and i havent even begun

Is drinking part of Australian society’s culture and therefore influencing teens? (culture, society)

Does underage drinking differ amongst country/city kids? (Environment, Cross Cultural component)

Has anything in our past impacted on the rate of underage drinking today? (Time)

Which elements of socialisation appear to influence underage drinking the most? (Person)

Firstly! Don't adopt a negative attitude... as in you feel it's gunna suck and you're going to get a low UAI. As long as you're interested or passionate about the area you want to focus on, and you work hard... you will be fine!
And hey, it's not too late to put all your effort in.. at least you care enough to post this bulletin forum thing...

ANYWAYS.... Back to your ideas.
I like Number 2 as well, however... will it be a problem for you to contact/interview a number of country kids??? That's my only thought..
Apart from that... it's a solid idea to build on. Try contacting kids help organisations or go on the website, such as the kidshelpine - they have factsheets and stuff..

I like number 1 as well, you can probably find it easier to get some contacts on that and surveying teens at ur school etc.. won't be hard...

Hope i've helped... lol sorry if i havent.. just brainstorming.

Ooh and u should also go to a bookstore or library and ask if there's any true stories of teens binge drinking etc.. maybe it will boost ur ideas???

Hey guys thanks for the help, but i wasnt specific enuf all those topics that i gave u above are the CHAPTERS in my pip, so there all going in there and yer i used to live in dubbo so i can get my old highschool to help me compare city kids to country kids. thanks, atleast i havent got a negative comment
