Schiavone, the fifth seed is out, which is no shock considering (like I stated in my last thread) she lucked her way into an easy French Open draw.

Here's my QF predictions:

Serena Williams [1]
Li Na [9] - Kuznetsova and Radwanska [7] will be knocked out

Victoria Azarenka [14] - Caroline Wozniacki [3], or Jie Zheng may be contenders
Samantha Stosur [6]

Kim Clijsters [8] or Justine Henin [17] - I hope it's the latter, but Henin seems nervous at ending matches against Clijsters.
Jelena Jankovic [4] - unless Alona Bondarenko can pull out another upset.

Yaroslava Shevdova or Alicia Molik - Seeded Schaivone and K.Bondarenko are gone. Bartoli tends to get late tournament nerves.
Ekaterina Makarova - She'll cause a lot of upsets. Other contenders include Sharhar Peer, and Alisa Kleybanova. Venus might stumble from Round 2-4.

I'll post my predictions for the men after I've watched a bit more :)

Some new players should win this Wimbledon.. same people winning again and again doesn't create an exciting climax.

I know the Australia-Serbia game is about to start but just flicked it over to Wimbeldon to see a world record longest match still going between Isner and Mahut. It's 45-45 in the 5th set which has been going to 5 hours alone and over 8 hours in total. It's fucking ridiculous.

Djokovic gets another cakewalk draw...

Besides Serena, no-one deserved to be in Women's SF (cept maybe Pironkova)

I thought who bes DESERVED QF, and SF spots were: (from the draw)

Maria Sharapova [16]
Li Na [9]

Jie Zheng [23]
Kaia Kanepi

Kim Clijsters [8]
Jelena Jankovic [4]

WORST SECTION of a Draw EVER! but Pironkova.
Jarmila Groth

SF should've been:

Sharapova [16]
Kanepi

Jankovic [4]
Groth

F:

Sharapova [16]
Groth

Also looked forward to another Federer v Tipsarevic 3R, but no luck this year :(

Federer was defeated by Berdych....

Berdych pulled off some amazing wtf winners against Federer, despite Federer having a cleaner game with less errors and double faults.

Hoping for a Nadal and Murray semifinal...

Dang it...wanted Federer to win Wimbledon. Do NOT want Djokovic to win, as he lucked his way with the draw. Also, do NOT want Nadal to win, as he'll WAY surpass Fed's points. Murray - eh...dunno. Out of the four, I hope Berdych wins, I think he's channellings Davydenko's spirit this Wimbledon (reduced errors, great footwork and choice of shots, and of course, the icy facade).

Women's side...tbh, I really hate this SF, but PLEASE do not let Zvonerava or Kvitova enter the finals, PLEASE!

I kinda feel sorry for Zvonerava...she got thrashed to bits by Williams.

Williams defended both her Aus open title and Wimbledon title this year...she's on fire!

Hopefully Fed does...

Somehow the world cup has made the Wimbledon seem insignificant...
Federer is out :p

Final is Berdych vs. Nadal. I'd like to see Berdych to take it out, but given it's his first grand slam final, and Nadal's confidence and intensity, I think it's unlikely.
