hi

i am interested in buyin books 4 senior study. i noe sum skools provide dem, but i am interested in seein a list of recommended books by other students for the followin subjects so dat u can kinda learn independently from
mafs ext1
biology
chemistry
business studies
oh yeh, n from wat i heard, excel n macquarie arent dat good cauz dey r all revision types of books. opinions

Well, I currently use both macquarie and excel for physics and I find them pretty good. I prefer macquarie slightly more cuz it the format and presentation is better. As for the style, I think they both do quite well teaching the material. Some say excel isn't that good cuz they explain the stuff poorly, but I don't really think so. I actually find it quite useful.

For chem I really recommend KISS books. REALLY REALLY EXCELLENT especially if you want to be an independant learner. (simple explanations, worked solutions for problems, diagrams etc)

For math ext 1, I would say Excels are really good in that department.
