Are you guys waiting till the first week until the lectures advise us on what books to buy?
Or are you buying it on enrolment day? (that's a lot of money to bring :( )
Because I heard there's a really long line at the bookshop in first week of uni
Oh well, can't be helped

thats right, i would by all the books you need before the semester starts. Either new or second hand. When the semester starts..expect a 2hr delay..

You can turn up to the Co-op at Macq and check their first semester list.

I'd say a week or two... there isn't much point tho, just bring your Credit Card, and buy them all a week before it starts... unless you plan to carry a couple hundred in cash.

I don't know. But Book Shwop opens March... Beware of editions, but it usually doesn't matter. And prescribed texts do change, so again be careful.

passing computing subjects is basically a case of rote learning stuff from the textbook. it depends on the subjects eh, but computing subjects you do need the textbooks if you want to study i reckon.

which subject has lecture notes that arent on the booklist? theres probably a reason why they're not on there, check with your lecturer, but if they're cheap ($15 - $20) id get them
