Some good clubs:
Frequency Lab, Surry Hills (1 min from Central) - has various musical gigs from Dj's to bands. Pretty artsy crowd. Often BYO alcohol Small venue not known by many (I don't think there's even signs). Coolest place ever.
Club 77 - Kings cross. Bloody brilliant. Absolutelly awesome. Thursdays - not many people. Pretty much free dance floor to rip it up. Good music. Fridays - DJ stuff. Cover charge of $10. Hot girls. Pretty 'fashionable' crowd. Saturday - Indie music. Some nirvana too etc.

i want to go out somewhere on fri (since i turn 18 tomorrow! wooo!). i was thinking king's cross maybe. somewhere i can just go dancing, chill out and drink cocktails. not too snobby. any suggestions?
