hello you bunch of potterheads, was stunned to find the thread list a harry-free zone!!! started this to discuss what we think will happen in book 6. my fav theory at the mo: did you know that the name "severus snape" rearranges to form the name "perseus evans"? lily and petunia's maiden name, and perseus was a greek god with connections to the mythical figure andromeda - which, you'll remember, was the name of Tonks' mother. coincidence? maybe, but we all know how incredibly clever JK is. mull it over.
what does everyone think?

Interesting. There has to at some point be a revelation about Snape, we've gotten all these little snippets through out the series. I also feel sorry for him, and a legitimate reason for feeling so!

there are quite a few rumors that book 6 will be called "Harry Potter and The Green Flamed Torch" ...
I didn't like the way Sirius died- falling behind that veil and all... I really hope he comes back - in some way

Sirius is not dead, i refuse to believe it.
albus dumbledore HAS to be an animagus, how could the most powerful wizard not be? i'd like to know what he is, apparently 'Dumbledore' means 'bumblebee' in some language.

another theory: in real history, after the Pope Cornelius came the Pope Lucius...

I think he really is dead but didn't Luna say that she is able to see her Mother? So harry will have a chance to see Sirius again. I wish Sirius didn't die but now that he has died, I dont want him to come back cos it would sort of ruin the whole death/finality feeling, if u know what i mean

hehe yeah, dumbledore means "bumblebee" in old english how cute.
apparantly JKR gave him that name, coz he likes music, so she imagined him to always be humming absentmindedly to himself... like he does in book 1, after harry defeats voldermort.

it's amazing how much thought she put into the books.

anyway!

shite, malfoy better not become minister for magic o____O i think there was a poll on mugglenet before, adn most people voted for arthur weasley. though i'm not really sure about that

There's a theory about her that's tied in with Ginny. There's an idea that Ginny is a "seer" and Luna is a spirit, which is something that seers always have around them. I actually read an essay on this, so it makes sense in a way. JKR doesn't actually list her in the student list on the CoS DVD, I think... sort of suggesting that she's not really a student, perhaps? Meh. I don't like her much. As long as she stays away from Harry, it's all good.

LOL. You are joking, right? Coz, really, with Sirius/Remus... you should all read this. Hehe, and JK never said that it was a childrens book. Not that homosexuality is something that children shouldn't be "exposed" to.

And yeh, I agree, Ron and Hermione are so totally shagging.
