PUFF PASTRY PIZZAS

Makes 4 mini sized pizzas

1 sheet puff pastry
Melted butter/egg white wash
Pizza sauce
Desired toppings (ie pineapple, ham)
Cheese... I use shredded tasty

Preheat oven, according to instructions on puff pastry, or about 200 for fan-forced oven
When the pastry has thawed, cut 4 equal sized circles out, by tracing around a small bowl or plate.
Put the pastry on foiled, sprayed oven tray.
Brush pastry with the butter/egg wash.
Cover the middle, add toppings and cheese
Cook in oven for approx. 10 mins or until the cheese is melted and the pastry looks crisp and golden

Hmmm I generally take my time cooking, but heres some quick ones

V-Pesto Pasta:
Duhh, easy. Get pasta, put into plastic lunchbox, put in two spoonfuls of pesto, pinenuts, corn put the lid on, shake around and Eureka, :) Mad pasta :D.

-Cheese crackers :)

V-Falafel
Falafel, water, mix it up, fry :D.
(Especially good in wraps etc... hahaha arabic moment :p)

-Cold, Fresh Stuffed capsicum
Chop the top off of a capsicum, and take out the insides. Stuff with filling of choice: Rice, tuna, salmon, corn, lettuce... or a combination. Eat it cold :), that way the capsicum is crunchy. Or cook it (will take up to 10 minutes in the oven though).

-Quick Salad Ideas:
Fetta, Kalamata Olives, Baby Spinach and a balsamic drizzle.
Chedder, Salmon (or tuna), Rocket and Italian dressing (or just salad cream or mayo if rushing)
Sandwhich Chicken ham-slices, Lettuce, avo and either coleslaw sauce or caesar dressing.

V- Satay Florets:
Quicky fry onions, put frozen brocolli and cauliflower florets into the pan, put in peanut butter and normal butter until all cooked and melted. Serve. Hmm takes me about 6 minutes.

-Tinned soup. Tinned chilli. Cuppa Soup etc

-Get fresh lasagne sheets, with each one put grated cheese (or ricotta) in the middle of a sheet and spinach, roll each one up and put a toothpick in the middle to hold it secure. Quickly throw into boiling water (be gentle as they tend to come apart with rough handling).

-Frozen pastry cut into small bits with cheese on. Into the oven. More a snack than a meal, and v v v fatty.

-Krispy Kreme, in the microwave *drools* :D. That DEFINATELY counts as cooking and a meal hahaha!

Amanda's Grilled Cheese:

Turn on sandwich press (flat, teflon coated one).
Put a slice of cheese (the pre-sliced one work really well) on a slice of bread and place in the sandwich press. Close, and listen to the sizzle! It should take anywhere from 1-3 mintues on a heated press. Too early and the cheese will stick, too late and it will burn.

I'm not sure if this works of every sandwich press, but the Breville ones work great. Don't be scared that the cheese will stick to the press, because it wont! Lightly tap and it should come off. Don't be scared of the smoke/steam either! Lol.

This makes really nice grilled cheese...its all crispy and melted...yum!

Sorry if it doesnt work on all presses....on all the ones i've tried so far its fine!

Scrambled Eggs in the Microwave

Aim:
To scramble eggs in microwave.
Hypothesis:
The eggs will scramble nicely.

Time:
1 - 1.5 minutes

Apparatus:
Microwavable dish (the one your mum heats up veggies in with water - you know that one)
Fork to stir and later eat with
Knife if you're oh so fancy
Two - three eggs
Dash of milk
Salt & Pepper
Optional: some toast

Method:
Crack eggs into micro- dish.
Pour a bit of milk in.
Grind half normal amount of salt & pepper in.
Stir with fork until a bit bubbly.
Stick in microwave.
Set for 50 seconds but keep an eye open incase it gets too dry. You can check on it and give it a stir through the 50 seconds if you're bothered.
Now it should have scrambled bits at the side/middle and still runny egg. If too much runniness, stick in for another 10 secs.
If still runny, 10 secs after that.
And after that. And after that. <-- step usually unnecessary.
If still runny, get a new microwave.
Put some more salf & pepper on it.
EAT.

Results:
EGGS.

Easy toasts:

Peanut butter and condensed milk go very ncie together on toast!!
some ppl like to add nutella to it =P mmmmm
or add a piece of cheese and grill/microwave for secs until the cheese is melted.

or just butter & honey on toast
or sour cream & jam
or ham & cheese
or canned tuna & tartare sauce (with toast, pasta or rice, ALL VERY NICE)

ok im hungry now...

i used to do the fairy bread thing but with jelly crystals....pretty good...

plain chips with avocado dip= yummmmmmmmmm

english muffin pizzas

corn chips, baked beans, tomato, cheese, capsicum + a whole lot of other crap all mushed together in a wrap- so good

2 min noodle sandwiches (good old ones that they used to have, not this __% fat free crap they now have)

tomato sauce on toast

SMORES- pop a couple of marshmallows on a granita biscuit, microwave 20 sec (watch it, coz it puffs up and can 'overflow') drop some choc bits on top, and top with another granita biscuit

super easy fritatta- pour boiling water over 2 min noodles, peas, carrots and corn. cover till soft. chuck in a frying pan, add 3 whisked eggs, cook till sides are set- chuck under the grill till middle is set. prob be good with ham/bacon- but takes more like 10 mins to cook.

Tomato toast - best snack ever, i swear. if you like tomato, that is.

Ingredients:
-Bread
-Butter (if you want, i hate the stuff but everyones different)
-Tomato
-Salt/Pepper/Cheese if desired.

Equipment:
-toaster
-knife
-plate (optional if you're on the go or just lazy)

Method:
-place bread in toaster and toast it
-while this is happening slice some tomato with the knife
-put tomato and whatever else you're doing (butter, pepper, whatever) on toast
-eat it

time: 5 mins, less if your toaster actually works properly.
Oh my gosh. Another tomato toast lover. *drools*

Avocado on toast is also wonderful.

ive been having sandwich pressed toasted tomato, cheese and vegemite on wholemeal bread for the past few weeks. glorious

find some wild herbs and get any meat you find on the battlefield, e.g. crocodile, racoons, wolves, poultry.
cook on a pan or stone on open fire.
sprinkle wild herbs on meat prior to browning of meat, remember to get your bowie knife and make a little incision to see if the meat to see if cooked.

Obviously you just need banana, ice creams (depends on your taste) and cherries... I can finish preparing and eating that in just 5 minutes... :bomb:

i made apple crumble this afternoon with the stuff we had in the house,

four red apples, peeled, cores removed and chopped [one delicious and three royal gala, so basically anything you like].
cinnamon
brown sugar
oats
butter
plain flour
caster sugar

place the chopped apples in a bowl with a decent sprinkle of cinnamon, and a bit of brown sugar [at a guess, 1/4 to 1/2 cup], combine [toss with a salad spoon] and then place into a oven dish [one of those rectangle ones you cook lasagne in], you could chuck a teensy bit of water in the bottom for the apples to stew in, but i don't like it to be mushy.
in a bowl, combine the flour [half cup] with a few tbsp of caster sugar, and half a cup [or more, depending on taste] of oats, and mix the butter through [i used about 40g - proper butter this is] [with your hands is easiest] until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. you could also add some coconut if you like it.
sprinkle the mix over the top of the apples, and put in a 180degC oven for 20-30 min.

it was amazing for something i just chucked together =]].

Something quick and easy, nice too. This is for 3 servings.

-3 eggs
-3 slices of bread, crusts removed
-3 slices of tomato
-Grated cheese
-Diced bacon
-Herbs of choice and salt & pepper

Preheat oven 180 °C.
Grab muffin tin tray, grease it with spray oil.
Push a slice of crustless bread into a muffin hole, making it into bread cup.
Crack egg into bread cup.
Add bacon, slice of tomato, cheese, herbs and salt & pepper.
Cook for around 10 minutes, vary time if you like your eggs runny.
Carefully take egg muffins out, serve. Eat.

Easy to make a batch of 12, or more.
