I decided to make this thread for all the Year 11 cohort doing MX1. Since, we are all going through this together, why not post your experiences with the subject, any problems, math jokes or even just some challenging questions. Have a great year guys.

Do you think you're sec(xy)? Just walk up to a girl and say "I'm a tan gent, may I touch your curves?"
She'll probably ask you to be asymptotic - get as close as you want, but don't touch.
But don't be too negative about this, or she'll substitute u for x^2.
