Korn's "Blind" was a reasonably *good* song?
That's as far as I'm going to go with that one.

On the other hand I love Opeth and I would rather eat my scissors than listen to Static-X but I don't see how it's a major juxtaposition of music tastes? They're both... reasonably heavy.

And I don't see what's wrong with a "juxtaposition" of music anyhow. I don't think there's any reason that one person should be restricted to one type of music. I think I'd get a bit sick of music as a whole if every band I listened to was similar to Opeth. Saying you can't like Nu Metal and... er... The-genre-that-Opeth-belongs-to (I'm not even going to bother trying) is kinda like saying you can't like both horror movies and comedy movies... isn't it?

Then again I kinda see your point in the sense that most people that appreciate Opeth's music are too "musically mature" to listen to Static-X. Or at least that's what I think.

Evergrey, Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Symphony X, Opeth, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica, Into Eternity, Stratovarius.

At the moment, my favourite artist + album is Nightwish - once. This album just keeps growing on me (plus seeing them on wednesday night has helped the growing process a bit).
