Huntelaar and Torres are too similar; you'd then need to play Gerrard as more of a trequartista rather than in a box-to-box role, where he's most effective. Keane might not score as many, but he'll set up more for midfielders rushing forward as well as Torres. Thus, he's a more logical buy.
