Liverpool 0- 0 Middlesborough. Liverpool really dominated the second half and Gerrard was extremely unlucky with several great chances.

I didn't see the Pool game, but by all accounts we totally dominated and were just unlucky not to score.

Really disappointed that Gerrard didn't get at least 1 of those 'glorious' chances in though. Would've certainly made my fantasy league table placing look a little better. And when did Ledley King get injured.. there went another 6 points..urrgh!

Liverpool is far from shit...they are the current European Champions. Gerrard, Alonso, Reina and several others had great games last night and they were very unlucky not to win. As Rafa put it after the game "...I think we lost 2 points tonight".

Also... Liverpool do deserve to be in the Champions League this season. To not give the Champions a chance to defend their title is a stupid rule. I think that you should just stick to posting in the thugby league thread Bookie .

Yeah, that looks about right. However there could be some differences as Toldo was left on the bench in the Champions League 3rd round first leg with Julio Caesar in place. That midfield could basically be replaced with 4 different players as still be just as strong. What a waste having talent like Kily Gonzales and particularly Karagounis getting splinters by sitting on the bench.

I don't know alot about that Reggina outfit but they have talent especially with Mozart, Pelizzoli and Paredes. Mozart has been linked to some big clubs over the transfer period. I'm glad someone else shares my love for Italian football!
