I think it's a 2001 or 2002 movie. Got James Van ber Beek (or however it's spelt) and Jessica Biel, though she has a small role.

yeah, i've read the book, in my opinion its a lot better than the film. it's much more confusing and complex, and the characters are less superficial and more developed. but then again, that's usually how adaptations go..

i liked the movie too though, and yes snakeoils, that bath scene was the most fucking disturbing movie scene i think i've ever watched. i couldn't watch it in the cinema, and had to leave until it was over, it freaked the crap outta me that much..
