I'm glad Roslynn is gone. Kate made a good decision - Kaya's song this week was awesome. I think this is the most mainstream song that they've ever performed. And it's original too.

Yeah, not a big fan of Kaya usually but that 'dont wanna go home' song is really good.. it has less of those stupid sounds they make so good for them.

I was so happy when vince and random were the top two! they were my favourites. i reckon it should be those two at the end.

what i fnd unusual is that with both the australian idol's.. the winner actually ends up getting less domestic publicitiy than the runner up.. shannon and anthony get more attention than guy and casey.. its just unusual.. so issit just all for publicity.. the winners.. it just seems rather fake i guess...

Im sorry but does anyone actually like Kaya, I hate them, I hated them from the start, I dont think they sound good AT ALL, and there is one girl that sings ad the others make funny noises. That song last night was shit, it didnt come to a peak like the judges keep telling them, i think that Roslynn performed much better.

Hello, people do like Shannon more, Guy sucks, maybe the reason ppl voted for Guy to win was because they knew that Shannon would get to record too but he wouldnt have to do it in like 7 days and to already made up songs. :uhhuh:

I really didnt like Roslynns performance. She is a good singer but i really didnt like that. Not much could make me like beyoncee though anyway.

And i reckon russel sounds like shannon noll...and i dont really like shannon either. I wanted him to win cos guy annoyed the hell out of me, but i really cant stand the way that they "country-up" decent songs that arent meant to be.

I only watch it now to laugh at how terribly pathetic it is. John must be ashamed to put his name to it and destroying his credibility, Mark is abit of a commercial hoar and will do anything for a buck and Kate is just - very different.

Maybe the winner will perform on Oz Idol this year? Thats the only time we will see them again, besides down at your local RSL every Wednesday night. :uhhuh:

i found out that in terms of ratings THE SHOW SUCKS ARSE!!! it's already bin confrimed: there will be NO follow-up season, no x factor 2, NOTHING!!
also, what we see between mark and kate each week is everything...basically THEY HATE EACH OTHER TO HELL!!!

Exactly!!! And she always makes those stupid lame jokes that nobody laughs at, except her.
She completely contradicted herself the other night, when at the start she said that the judges should stop looking for the negatives in the performances and focus on the positives. Then all she did was criticise!

And why did she have to bring up that Michael Hutchence thing? She just HAD to tell everyone that she knew him and she went to his funeral...
