Yep, Google Earth is awesome. I found my house, but it's weird that a lot of areas are lacking detail (read: blurred). Hmm.

Well, woronora bridge is built and operational, so it's <4 years old, which is quite a while, but better than 10 year old sattelite images I should imagine.

The imagery is from DigitalGlobe and EarthSat. Google purchased a software company called 'Keyhole' last year that was offering sattelite maps, and went from there.

Unfortunately, anything north of Darling Harbour is blurred out with crap detail leaving us North Shore residents and above unable to find our houses.
Everything south is in crystal clear resolution though, grr
