Study things like...

  • Interviews
  • Songs
  • Articles
  • Cartoons
So that you can see the Language Techniques when you hear them.

Remember to listen and make notes before you answer the questions.

But read the questions so that you know what notes your supposed to be making notes of.

You will therefore be fine.

I did a listening task last friday, and it was an article from the UK Stolen Children. With questions about a Cartoon and then a question about a song from Cristina Aguilera.

oh lol

before i forget, remember you will prob be asked for the text that relates to journey the most.

Well LFAF are the important ones, but focus on tone and rhythm - things that you can actually hear.

And try and have a general thesis for whatever topic it is ie for ours we had to identify how the imaginative journey was shown in the text 'Isabelle the Navigator', so we all developed ideas beforehand on what the IJ involved
