should we buy textbooks?
Hi there everyone. I will be studying B Commerce/ B Economics this year and want to know if I should buy the textbooks now or wait until lectures start.
Right now I am thinking that if I buy the prescribed texts (perhaps even second hand) there won't be too much rush as lectures start.
However I have heard that sometimes you do not need the textbooks at all (and so borrowing from the library or waiting to see if you need it might be a good idea).
I do not know which one to follow. I got in contact with some lecturers and they have obviously recommended I buy the prescribed texts.
All advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
