I was just wondering what happens if you don't show up to an exam. I'm taking 12 units and my maths mark is woeful so I was thinking about not even turning up if its not going to be counted towards anything anyways. I know i probably should go, but will it really matter if i dont?

i guess it won't matter... but remember... what if you bum out for another unit? They could have counted only one unit from that subject and only one unit from maths.... If you think you should risk it... but you've come all this way!!!

You count as withdrawing from the subject. You may as well go, and even if you stuff up it at least shows potential employers that you are willing to give even things you aren't good at a go.

Yeah, I guess I will have to go...I just don't understand it at all, and my teachers completely screwed up and we were two terms behind which we had to catch up on in our own time because they are so incompetent. It was all just a big mass cram and I dont even want to open my book because it all just scares me lol oh well, I guess I can just go and see what happens...thanks for your replies!

Alex. :)

i suggest you contact the school and drop the subject if it is possible because that way you dont have to worry about it at all. my school says you must turn up to all the exams as you get 0 otherwise. this they say ruins the year average bla bla bla. that is not true though as they remove these really unusually bad marks when moderating. it probably wont make a difference but i suggest you either chuck a sickie, or drop it if that is possible now
