i'm deliberating over whether i should do actuarial studies at macquarie or UNSW.. is it better at macquarie(since thats where the majority of actuaries graduate)

hmm also.. what's it like being an actuary? i know there's stress and alot of hard work.. but does it get boring? Because i dont want a career that will be boring me for 40-50 years.

1. Macq or UNSW: Use the search option, there are at least 10 threads which repeat everyones' arguments.

2. Is it boring: Depends on the individual. It's like saying, do you like hot summer days or cool summer days.

Pay varies depending on qualification as an actuary and experience. An average of 300 000 per year is an exaggeration, however. Half of that would be reasonable after 3-4 years of work?
