Not sure if this is true, but even if it was it hasn't stopped the SMH and Daily Telegraph.There has never been an official/authoritative list of school rankings.
Unless the Principal has permitted such a ranking, it's illegal to publicly publish a set of school rankings.
I think they can only release top 100 (due to legal issues with publishing more than that?).
