i'm confused. i was referring to beatles discussions, thus implying to an extent that their status, as a band, are beyond reproach and any productive debate is near-impossible.

...but at the same time, i don't personally buy into the beatles cult, even though i like them well enough. why the fuck should they be such a sacred cow?
