Personally think it makes more sense that James Ruse has 28 places compared with 37 places for Sydney Grammar School.
Surely it would be harder to get places on the list if the gaps were really close and externals were not as close mark wise?

grammar may have more top achievers, but overall with band 6s I still reckon Ruse has rank 1 again

well considering that 15-20 of SG's state ranks were from languages e.g. Greek/Latin not offered at JR, its pretty tough to tossup a comparison
