I'm in year 11, so I'm not aware how it works - how do you chose what music topics you wish to study, e.g for Performance etc..?

If I were to do 4 performances, how space apart are they? or do they all occur in the same block of time at the end of the year?

It would be nice to know I'm able to play all the music I've learnt now for the HSC.

Well, for music 2 you have to chose your own topic from within a list that basically encompasses all of Western music - Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, C19th, 1900-1945, and 1945-25 years ago. And then you narrow it down to an area that you're interested in, and focus on one aspect of it. For example, I'm doing music 1945-25 years ago, and my topic is the operas of Gian Carlo Menotti.

You're assessed on your performances through the year, but for the trials and the actual HSC you will play them all in sequence in one 45-minute or so block.

hope that help! I'm sorry that I don't know anything about music 1.
