its on the table in page 15 of that PDF I posted u goose!
GPA is given on the left (ie 6.00-6.15) and the degree status are in the next column (ie for us, it would be 1.00-xx years completed)
so that 6.00-6.15 GPA = 96

This system makes sure a distinction is worth the same across all uni's - ie by working out the GPA on this method, scores are standardised (assuming uni's work on the 85 HD, 75 D, 65 CR etc)

you can do mid-year transfer (across unis)..and its a lot of courses but not most

a lot of engineering and stuff like that on offer

i know mac internal transfer is quite easy

at the end of the year options are much wider open..but you need to do well this year i suppose, so maybe if you think you should be doing arts when you are doing engo..then you should consider it.

UMQ internal transfrs are supposedly one of the most flexible in the county (along with UWS). It is guaranteed transfer provided yu get a 2.0

well, lets just say u got much higher than me UAI-wise!

hmm..accounting, you'll pick it up as the semester ends, its hard at the start, then becomes easier

jus cause we dont have com liberal at unsw!
commerce itself is pretty flexible u know
unless u wanna study something boring like politics, then u have to combine with arts

Lets work that out.

HD average (meaning you got straight HD's in 1st yr) works as a GPA of 7.0
According to the table in that PDF I posted, a GPA of 7.0 correlates to a selection rank of 99.5. Now remember, your NRSL rank is an average of your selection rank and UAI.
So if you got a UAI of 85, then your NRSL rank would be 99.5+85/2
=92.25

It is known that the NRSL cutoff for UNSW Law was about 95.80, so yes, you'd miss out, since its very competitive (the people that do transfer are the ones with UAI's of 96-98 who get D averages in 1st yr)

Minai would you happen to know the NRSL cutoff for Economics or Commerce for your year?
