ok i asked on the official mq bulletin board and heres what she said:
There is little difference between doing a B Commerce and a B Commerce - Marketing. B Commerce- Marketing will appear on your Testamur if you are enrolled in the named degree. If you are enrolled in a B Commerce that is what will appear on your Testamur, unless you satisfy the requirements for a B Commerce- Marketing and advise Undergraduate Studies that you wish to graduate with a B Commerce - Marketing. The B Commerce - Marketing provides you with the structure that ensures you follow a Marketing coherency and end up studying the subjects formulated by the University to satisfy the requirements of majoring in Marketing. You can study exactly the same subjects as part of a B Commerce, however, there is more flexibility in the structure of the degree.

Career wise, employers who only have the opportunity to see your CV and are specifically looking for Marketing graduates may not recognise that you have majored in Marketing if you have not done the named degree.

nope you need 18cp and a gpa of 2.0
and have done LAW103 and LAW113 with credits..

i'm in BIT now..
i trasnferred because i didn't get an offer in commerce or combined commerce at usyd... and i put BIT down at macq by chance thinking it was gonna have a high 90's cut off like the other uni's and not make it in.. but the cut off was mid 70's and i got offered a spot.. i figured i would juse use macqs internal trasnfer policy to get to a commerce/economics degree and combine it with something else..

and get into the quota - how many ?


so, basically- u may have done law113/103 and passed , in attempt to trasfer to llb and getvturned down coz of not enuff places - and waitvfor the next year?
