Transferring and UOC (1 Viewer)

Hey

I was wondering if anyone has had experience of transferring and catching up on courses? Say you transferred mid year and you missed a core course that is only available in Semester 1, would you have to do it the following year and then have a larger workload?

I transferred in to Arts/Maths and had to do first-year English courses in my second year.

If that happened to you, you'd have to do it in the next year and delay something else. It'll just re-arrange your subject selection most likely - but the best way to check is to plan your entire degree if you can and see how it'll affect you if you must place certain subjects in certain years and semesters. For me, because of my transfer, I may have to stay back an extra year.
