hey, i did post this in the engineering until i figured i had posted in the wrong section

i was just wondering when i should transfer from dfee to csp
atm im doing an aeronautical degree in usyd and im in a dfee place
i was told by some1 that they let u transfer in about 2.5 years down the track
is this true?

i got a uai of 86.9 and my degree requires 90.1
i got a credit average i think for the 1st year
3 distinctions 3 credits and 4 passes
btw if its not to hard wat would my gpa give me and hence would i get in if i transferred first year (which btw i didnt change, goin to apply next year)

and im wondering when to change to csp

thanks

should be able to transfer any time (at end of year that is) - just double check to be on the safe side (cause law doesnt let u transfer after end of first year).

regarding marks u need - a credit average like u have will get u 89uai. which is a bit short. try and get half Ds and half Cs next year and u should get around 93uai for ur gpa bit (thers a table floating around this site somewhere). and do apply next year - u want to get into csp as quickly as possible (unless ur $$$$$$$). hopefully the cut offs dont change much.

I believe you can try every yr if you are transferring from DFEE to CSP.
The "first year only" applies to CSP to CSP.

you might scrap through, but dont rely too much on it yet
you better pray that it drops slightly
