Hi,

I am currently in Macquarie university undertaking a bachelors in mechatronic engineering. My GPA is about 5.5 and I was wondering how to transfer from MQ to UTS, before the start of session two and whether my units will also be accredited.

UTS has a guide on transferring and getting recognition of prior learning here

Although I'm not completely sure if you can get into UTS for spring semester because spring semester is starting in about a week with orientation starting this week and I would assume applications for spring session would have probably closed by now, although the best way to confirm this is to talk to the future students team which you can find a way to contact here.

Your wam/gpa will only be considered after a year of full study (or 48 units completed). In terms of how to apply, that would be through UAC (I’m pretty sure). Further , it is up to the uni (UTS) if your units will be accredited but that will happen after you’ve been offered the degree at uts
