The f22 scenes really show the potential of this state of the art jet, the explosions are beautiful and frequent and the acting on the whole is pretty good.

That's why Starscream ran up to the sky and did not help Megatron
for the sequel!

It was brilliant. Some of the car scenes had me drooling for more. The start was awesome and so was the end. It got to hectic though trying to follow everything but I'm glad they added slow motion to some of the actions scenes cause really it was happening a bit to fast to keep up with everything.

My gf bought a couple of gold class lounge tickets to see this for my birthday. 5/5 for the pizza, 2.5/5 for the movie. I think the screen was too big for the small room and the fact that each shot lasted probably less than 2 seconds gave me a real headache. Great laughs though/

It too good..such that Transformers II will be shit.

Arguably the best movie out this year.. All the other are crap.. Shrek III was shit..

Does The Lives of Others count as this year? I saw that today and it was pretty great. Possibly just beats Zodiac for my favourite so far.

+ original transformer noise
+ awesome, awesome cgi
+ well done action scenes
- cringeworthy dialogue and [human] characters
- decepticon frenzy = annoying
- shootout between frenzy and human secondary characters = worst scenes in the movie. especially the abrupt strange overacting between the S7 guy and the secretary of defense when they discovered they could use the short wave radio, or whatever.
- lack of megatron
- moar prime plz!

8/10. fun. bay could've done a LOT worse.

Hahah it was highly entertaining. Hated the obligatory love story though... and yeah, though the "teen movie" bits were funny, they were a bit wtf. I agree with whoever said on the previous page about some scenes towards the end - why did he have to go to that particular building?

Apparently so the army guys can take the cube from Sam in their helicopters but the decepticon i think it was the helicopter or starscream blasted them. See like he couldnt just run on ground because of the fighting at the bottom.

and megan fox was definately hot

Transformers was good, Zodiac - come on man.. shittest movie of all time.. even TMNT was better than that.
