Stupid cityrail, giving us false hopes on their site:

"Student (NSW) Identification Card (Form 204):

Single, Return, RailPass, FlexiPass and TravelPass 7Day tickets at Half Fare."

I'm sure that half fare means half fare of an adult ticket. Why don't they tell us they're rorting us?

Going by the child description I would say that the student description refers to peak prices rather than in general. Using the fare calculator shows that to be the case, too (from the outlying stations that I used, anyway). We don not get off peak prices, but eh, what can we do?
